COLLEGE OF EDUCATION

STEP 1

Visit the University website at kuw.edu.ng or on your chrome browser, type admission.kuw.edu.ng. Create your application profile and proceed to make payment for your application online.

After online payment, you proceed to fill the online form and submit.

After submission, contact the ICT for your online admission (this is to enable you proceed with your online acceptance fee payment and not a final judgment on your admission status).

Print out the application form and your acceptance fee receipt (check you email box) and proceed to the office of the admission officer.

STEP 2:

All candidates shall present the following items/documents at the office of the Admissions Officer:

  • Letter of Admission into The University issued by JAMB
  • Online application form
  • Acceptance fee receipt
  • Academic credentials (WASC, NECO, etc.) and JAMB results slips
  • Birth certificate or Statutory Age Declaration certificate
  • Local Government Identification letter
  • Letter of Attestation from parents/guardians vouching for their student behaviour and conduct
  • Four recent coloured passport-sized photographs with name and course of study clearly written on the reverse side of photographs
  • Three photocopies of each item in Numbers I to V

Candidate is issued a Clearance form by the Admissions Officer.

STEP 3:

Candidate proceeds to the Departmental office for screening. The screening officer signs the candidate’s Clearance form.

STEP 4:

Candidate returns to the office of the Admissions Officer to be issued a Matriculation Number.

STEP 5:

The student proceed to the university ICT for portal profile creation. This is to enable the student proceed with school payment and online course registration.

Candidates shall present credible evidence of fee payment which is a portal-generated slip, to the cashier in the University bursary unit, who will issue to them The University bursary receipt

STEP 6:

All candidates shall present to the Academic Secretary, the original and three photocopies of The University bursary receipt to obtain the following forms:

  • KUW 001 Student Information Form
  • KUW 002 Student ID Biodata Form
  • KUW 003 Student Medical Report Form (SMRF)
  • KUW 004 Course Registration Form

 •    KUW Acceptance Form

STEP 7:

All candidates shall:

  • Complete all the listed forms mentioned in Step 5 with attachment as appropriate;
  • Make four photocopies of the completed Acceptance letter, Clearance letter, and General Registration Forms. Student shall submit all these to the Academic Secretary
  • The Academic Secretary shall sign the student’s Information Form after all the required documents have been completed and submitted.

STEP 8:

All candidates shall request for the Student Register from the Academic Officer and complete accordingly.

STEP 9:

All candidates shall proceed to their respective College Officers to Submit Course Registration forms with two sets of the required documents. For example, candidates admitted to the College of Natural and Applied Sciences shall submit Course Registration forms, generated and printed from The University portal in the ICT unit, to their respective departmental offices – Computer Science, Statistics, Life Sciences (Biology}, & Geography.

Most importantly, candidates must submit two sets of documents in two separate files to be submitted to their colleges and departments.

Note:

It is only when the Student Course Registration forms have been completed and duly signed by the appropriate officers and the candidate’s particulars entered in the Students’ register, that registration can be deemed to have been duly completed.

This procedure is subject to modification. Candidates who do not complete all the steps listed above would not be issued Matriculation Numbers. A student without a Matriculation Number is deemed not to be a bonafide student of Kwararafa University Wukari, and would not be allowed to take lectures, or write CA and examinations.

It is important to emphasize that the clearance and registration exercises will last for only two weeks. Registration after the first two weeks shall be regarded as late registration and will attract a penalty of Ten Thousand Naira only (N10,000).

The Academic Secretary shall sign the student’s Information Form after all the required documents have been completed and submitted.

The University conducts verification of certificates and credentials submitted to The University during the period of studentship in Kwararafa University Wukari. Students found to have submitted falsified certificates and other credentials shall have their admissions into The University withdrawn. There shall not be any refund of any fees and/or other payments paid already to The University by the student.

The University also, reserves the right to withdraw the degree/diploma/certificate of any of her graduates whose admission into The University is discovered to have been obtained through the presentation of falsified documents, especially certificates and other information, at the time of admission.
